Kom Ombo & Edfu Sanctuary Stops
Begin sailing northward while enjoying breakfast on board. Go ashore to view the symmetrical double-designed structure of Kom Ombo Temple. Return for a midday buffet as we move toward Edfu. Switch to a horse carriage to visit the grand Temple of Horus. Navigate through Esna Lock during the night.
Karnak Columns & Glowing Pylons
Unwind on the top sun deck as the vessel approaches Luxor. Following lunch, step off to walk among the enormous stone columns at the vast Karnak Temple Complex. Valley of the Kings & Downriver Sail
Fuel up with breakfast before heading to the West Bank to discover the painted royal tombs inside the Valley of the Kings. Tour the terraced mortuary shrine of Queen Hatshepsut and look at the twin statues of Memnon. Get back on board for lunch as the ship begins sailing south toward Edfu.
Horus & Sobek Sanctuaries
Take a horse-drawn buggy to inspect the well-preserved Temple of Horus in Edfu. Return to eat lunch on the ship while cruising further south. Late in the afternoon, step onto the shore at Kom Ombo to explore the dual sanctuary dedicated to ancient gods. Dine while gliding towards Aswan.
