Check-In & Island Isis Temple
Meet our representative upon arrival in Aswan and board the 5-star MS Farida Nile Cruise. Eat a satisfying lunch after settling into your room. Head out to inspect the massive High Dam wall, then take a water taxi across to the lovely island sanctuary of Philae Temple. Come back for dinner on the ship.
Kom Ombo & Edfu Sanctuary Stops
Begin sailing northward while enjoying breakfast. Go ashore to view the double-designed structure of Kom Ombo Temple and the Crocodile Exhibit. Return for a midday buffet as we move toward Edfu. Switch to a horse carriage to visit the grand Temple of Horus. Navigate through Esna Lock during the night.
Karnak Columns & Glowing Pylons
Unwind on the top deck as the vessel approaches Luxor. Following lunch, step off to walk among the enormous stone columns at the vast Karnak Temple Complex. Right before evening settles, tour the warmly lit stone halls of Luxor Temple by the water. Enjoy onboard entertainment and sleep in Luxor.
Pharaonic Tombs & Final Drop-Off
Have an early breakfast and clear your room. Cross the river to explore the colorful royal crypts inside the Valley of the Kings. Luxor Boarding & Karnak Visit
Board the MS Farida Nile Cruise in Luxor and enjoy a welcoming lunch. Spend your afternoon wandering through the magnificent courtyards of Karnak Temple with your Egyptologist guide. As twilight approaches, view the illuminated facade of Luxor Temple before returning for dinner and rest.
Valley of the Kings & River Cruise
Fuel up with breakfast before heading to the West Bank to discover the painted royal tombs inside the Valley of the Kings. Tour the terraced mortuary shrine of Queen Hatshepsut and look at the twin statues of Memnon. Get back on board for lunch as the ship begins sailing downriver toward Edfu.
Horus & Sobek Temples
Take a horse-drawn buggy to inspect the well-preserved Temple of Horus in Edfu. Return to eat lunch on the ship while cruising further south. Late in the afternoon, step onto the shore at Kom Ombo to explore the dual sanctuary dedicated to two ancient gods. Dine while gliding towards Aswan.
High Dam & Philae Sanctuary
Wake up to scenic river views in Aswan. Tour the massive architecture of the High Dam and catch a motorboat to the gorgeous island-based Philae Temple. Spend a quiet afternoon on a wooden Felucca sailboat gliding around local islands. Stay overnight on the vessel in Aswan.
